About the BERP Program
- It is estimated there are several hundred thousand head of cattle on the roadways each day in the United States. A Bovine Emergency Response Plan (BERP) and teaching curriculum were developed to offer a framework for local emergency responders to more effectively and efficiently address accidents involving livestock transportation.
